Don't pull The Rope!
The "Don't pull The Rope!" running gag is the most common running gag in TMMaLMS, appearing in almost every plot. (The second most common running gag in TMMaLMS is "Get Ye Flask.")
How it Goes[]
While explaining this running gag, the character who pulls The Rope will be referred to as the "puller."
A character will whistle, which causes The Rope to appear. The puller then goes over to The Rope, and other characters tell the puller, "Don't pull The Rope!" The puller doesn't listen and pulls The Rope anyway. Usually, water falls on the puller, but sometimes it's something else, such as in Math, when Mr. Calculator pulled The Rope and the water fell on Miss Destructive instead.
